From Above Us Only Sky: A View of 9/11 from the Spirit World
We, in the Spirit World, observed 9/11 from a different perspective.  From here, we watched the emotional ramifications, which included not only how those on Earth reacted inside themselves, but how they reacted toward each other.  At first the energy of grief, anger, confusion, and fear were very strong and emanated a dusky black color – the darkness of the fear pierced by red lights of anger.  Then the love started to pour in from outside and enveloped the darkness in a bright white light, that brought with it, not only the warmth of the light, but the generosity and caring that would help diffuse the fog around those in grief.  But the white light started to dissipate, and the fear and anger were still there.  It’s not gone completely, but we need more love there.  Not just to the survivors, but to the situation and everything that has come after it.  It’s a tangled mess, wrapping itself into a tight ball, and it needs to be loosened.

To love is not weak.  That is a dangerous misconception on earth.  Let it go.  Let it all go.  Love is always there when you want or need it, but it has to be fed and treated with care.  You have to actively invest in it.

Remember a time when you were young and you were on a swing, and you swung up so high you thought you could fly, and the breeze that carried you gave you that feeling of weightlessness, and you couldn’t stop smiling?  You didn’t know why, you just couldn’t?  That’s what real love feels like and you don’t have to be standing naked in front of your husband to experience that.  It’s in any pure expression of love, whether that be to someone you know, or a stranger, or an expression of healing to a situation.  You are a channel for love and healing, every one of you.  Everyone has this special gift, because our human vessels are equipped with a soul, so we can do just that!  Give yourself up to the greater good and you can stay on that swing as long as you like!

Pour yourself back into these acts of love, by being a witness to it every chance you get.  Love is needed at Ground Zero.  Not just the location in New York City, but at all the Ground Zeroes, whether they be in Manhattan, Palestine, Russia, Israel, Iraq, or at the heart of people so engulfed in misery and grief that they cannot breathe, much less see a day past today, and even wonder how they are still standing now.  Be their light.  You never know just how close those in need are to you.
